$10/Month could help us purchase food at cost so that our shoppers have access to a wider variety of nourishing foods, like dairy, oil, and eggs. 15% of the food in our Shop program is purchased at cost.
$25/month could help with the cost of educational community trainings for our volunteers and neighborhood residents. More than 5,000 volunteers come through our doors every year and about 1,000 of those volunteers are also shoppers.
$50/month could contribute to healthy Cafe Meals that bring our community together. In 2022 we served 8,500 Cafe Meals where community members sat and ate together. 86% of shoppers say they have made new friends since coming to Kinship.
$75/month could help us purchase farming supplies to sustain our urban farm. Each year we grow more than 12,000 lbs of organic produce that is distributed to our shoppers. 90% of shoppers say that they cook with more fresh produce since coming to Kinship.
$100/month could contribute to the living stipend of a Mission Intern. In 2023 we welcomed 7 mission interns who were integral to our operations and program development.
$250/month could contribute to the costs of our Stride program, which provides crisis assistance referrals to neighborhood residents. 100% of shoppers say they know that they can get support and help at Kinship. In 2022, 70 of our families were protected from eviction.
