The Unity Campaign for Frederick County
Your support allows SOAR to meet the increasing needs of seniors in need in Frederick County. Many of our seniors are the most vulnerable among us and live on a fixed and limited income without the hope of earning more. Many struggle to meet their basic needs and are really challenged when an unexpected expense arises.
Our services are comprehensive in that we do not specify what a senior can request support for. If you are aged 65 and older, live in Frederick County, MD and meet income guidelines we can help!
Our services offer a lifeline to these seniors and in many situations offer the ability to remain in their homes safely, relocate to a safer, more affordable environment, and to receive food, medications, transportation services to name a few of the areas that offer much needed support.
Our requests have increased significantly since COVID-19 as for many of our seniors it is unsafe to leave their homes.
