Hello 291 Family & Friends! Normally you have the pleasure (or not so much, depending on how much you like hearing me speak!) of hearing me, Chris Smith, present the Council's annual fundraising campaign in-person. However, like most other things, Council had to pivot this year due to COVID and did so by launching an online campaign. Our Troop has been very supportive of Scouting in the past, and I hope that we can continue to do so in this format. Over the past year, the Cradle of Liberty Council has provided our Scouts the opportunity to participate in the proven character building and leadership programs of Scouting. When we were unable to meet in person, the council provided us with the tools to advance in rank, earn merit badges and lead serve projects. The council needs our help more than ever to continue to live the mission.
