#givingBBYOday is part of the worldwide #GivingTuesday campaign - a global day of giving on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. After we give thanks for family and friends and, after we’ve shopped the deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #givingBBYOday is our opportunity to give back to the causes we care about.
More than ever before, tens of thousands of Jewish teens worldwide are turning to BBYO as a place to feel connected. Since the beginning of 8th grade, BBYO has been the place I can call home, and the one place I can be my true self. It has introduced me to the most amazing people around the world, along as given me opportunities that I could of not experienced anywhere else. In this past year of losing someone so close to me, and experiencing anti-semitism first hand, these events have shown me that BBYO is there for every single person. With that, I want to make sure all Jewish teens like me can have the same opportunity. Unfortunately not everyone can. That is why I encourage you to donate what you feel comfortable with, so more teens can experience these programs and events.
