#givingBBYOday, a part of the global Giving Tuesday, is a day in which our entire Movement—teens, parents, alumni, staff, advisors, and friends—comes together to show our support for our local BBYO regions.

BBYO has changed my life for the better, by sending me to educational camps and teaching me. You might be asking yourself, why am I donating to something you know nothing about? So I told you what bbyo is, but I can talk about it and tell you how it has changed my life. I started bbyo in 2018, after just having my bar mitzvah. I was this little kid with no self-confidence. I saw all these big kids and said I want to be like them when I’m in their place. I went every week and was and still am super passionate. I ran in many elections and won and lost. I try and tried to make a difference and help people. I love to help people if you couldn’t tell. Now, I’m in their place, and you ask, so how did bbyo change you? So over this last summer, I went to/attended bbyo camp for leadership in the chapter, region, and internationally. I also went to a program of the camp that focused on Judaism and heard stories and learned there for 7 weeks. These donations helped me pay for me to go there and learn and help me find more of who I am, and show how I can help others and lead them to succeed. I made so many friends and made so many memories, and learned that life is full of ups and downs. My goal in life is to help everyone and help people in need and help the world and make people happy. Donating to BBYO giving day would help kids and take them to the places I went and teach them the information and lessons I learned.
