Hey _____ :) this summer I will be going back down to south central LA with my high school group to help out with an event called Love LA. What is Love LA? It is a Bible school for kids of all ages. The goal is to show these kids the love of Christ by serving them and I can't wait to see the kids again. What we usually do for the camp is lead the groups of kids from station to station and have fun with them! The stations are fun but also teach them about Jesus.The camp this year is going for four weeks. Anthem, the church I'm going with, is going the first week, June 13-20. The cost is $350. This pays for food and lodging for the whole week and it lets the kids from the neighborhood go for free. The kids get to have fun while their parents either work or take some time off. I would really appreciate your prayers - for the families in LA and also for us as we minister to them. Before we go, we're doing something called "Hire A Student." Feel free to ask me questions!
