ONE DAY FOR DAWGS 2024
The Malik Kingsby Scholarship is intended to provide opportunity to students who experience inequity or barriers to education because of racism and heterosexism (homophobia) and/or cissexism (transphobia).
Malik Kingsby was a student staffer of the Ferris State University LGBTQ+ Resource Center and Williams Auditorium, the president of the Art History Club, and a member of Psi Sigma Kappa. His legacy includes warmth and inclusion of all students in every space he entered, service to QTBIPOC students, and campus-wide education about Two Spirit, same gender loving, and LGBTQ+ people of color.
