Beloved and loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend, Marcia passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family, on October 5th, 2021.
Born in Joliet, Illinois on May 24th, 1952, Marcia lived the majority of her life in the Chicago area before retiring in 2015 and realizing her dream of a life at the beach in Myrtle Beach.
Marcia loved her family more than anything, but a close second was a project. Knitting, basket-making, quilting, painting, wallpapering - you name it, she'd dive headfirst into it. We are so lucky to have so many useful things made by her hands that will remain in our lives for years to come.
Marcia is survived by her husband of nearly 49 years, Paul, as well as her sons Ryan and Aaron, her daughter-in-law Abby, grandchildren Hannah and Connor and grandpets Bjügaarhæd (aka Booger) and Sherman.
All proceeds go towards:
• Finding effective treatments and a cure for pulmonary fibrosis
• Advocating for the pulmonary fibrosis community
• Promoting disease awareness
• Providing a compassionate environment for patients and their families
