Our Council, comprised of current and former patients, caregivers and loved ones, works to determine what will truly make a difference in improving the experience of cancer patients during one of the most difficult times of their lives. We strive to be the voice of the patient and consider their perspective in every level of the decision-making process.
My cancer journey started in 1996 when my husband Nick was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was 30. The chemo from this cancer caused Leukemia 16 years later. At age 46, I was a widow. I watched him suffer for years. We have to do better to help those with cancer and I will do all I can to make someone's else journey better. I believe in Dr. Flora, St. Elizabeth and their team. They are making a change in how we view and treat cancer. Please help us meet our goal to make other's lives better. Peace.
