An athlete is an athlete is an athlete. Anyone who chooses to move, to play, and to compete through sport deserves the opportunity to do that with the best equipment, the best facilities, and with the full support of a community.

WoodWind Park is dedicated to using play to support causes bigger than us. There are so many very important people in our lives who love to engage in sport and they have been able to do that because the Special Olympics has provided an opportunity for them to do so. We support volunteers, families and the athletes themselves and we truly could not think of a better entity to support with the proceeds from our WinterFest Play it Forward Snow Obstacle Race than the Special Olympics.

We will be physically playing it forward on Saturday, February 19th in Otter Creek, WI on the hills and ice rink at WoodWind Park, but we will encourage those who cannot attend in person to support participants with online donations. More information will be posted soon on http://www.woodwindpark.com.
