United Way of Frederick County improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of the Frederick County community to advance the common good. United Way of Frederick County envisions a community where all individuals and families achieve their potential through healthy lives, education and financial stability.
Unity Funds - Our Community Impact program aims to help ALICE households in areas of health, education, and financial stability. We do this through granting funds to local nonprofits that are making a difference in the lives of ALICE families. We also have direct service through the Prosperity Center which serves as a one-stop hub for financial resources in our community. Individuals are also able to join our match savings program to help them buy a home, go back to school or start a small business.
