Women Build Week 2019
I’m participating in Women Build Week – the biggest Women Build event of the year! Over the course of 5 days, Habitat for Humanity will be framing and roofing two entire houses with the help of 150 women volunteers. I’m not only helping to build one of these homes, but I’m also helping to raise the funds needed to buy the building materials and tools.
I'm physically involved in this cause because I believe in our ability to empower the next generation and know that a stable home creates family sustainability and provides children with an extra boost when it comes to social opportunities, community involvement, overall health, and educational performance.
Is there any reason you can't join me in working to make a dent in the affordable housing crisis many of our US cities are experiencing?
