Veterans Matter Walk to End Veteran Homelessness

Oct. 18th, 2019 - 6 p.m.

Civic Center Mall

Walk in the name of a veteran you would like to honor, and you will honor your hero by housing another.

The Walk goal is to house 25 more veterans who have nowhere else to go.

Our method is to rally-up all of those who care about homeless veterans as much as we do into one cohesive force to get #Mission1000more into their own home for the brave, in the land of the free. If you are one of us, please walk with us or donate today.

Student Registration: $15
Armed Services or Veteran: $20 - Includes cool T-shirt
General Public: $25 - Includes cool T- Shirt

Registration after 10/14 does not guarantee a shirt.

On behalf of all of the veterans you will help house, we say thank you!

Help me make sure every homeless veteran has a home for the brave in the land of the free!

EVERY dollar we deploy results in another veteran housed in a long-term housing program with a 91% success rate keeping them housed

It takes $750 on average for the National Homeless Veterans Housing Program through Veterans Matter to give homeless veteran a new place called home and a fresh start. The goal with this Walk to End Veteran Homelessness is to house 20 more veterans. I would like us to house one, or even two veterans.

This means your donation and fundraising, large or small, will result in another veteran housed.

I'm inviting friends like you to support my campaign by walking with me, or just donating hereto my campaign today. Veterans are counting on us.

If you care about veterans as much as I do, join me!

About Veterans Matter

Veterans Matter was small program created in Toledo, Ohio to house 35 local veterans. This little hometown program went national when Dusty Hill, John Mellencamp and Mitch Albom to help them house veterans in their home states, founder Ken Leslie created an efficient on-line cloud-based system to help them accomplish this goal.

Over 3,000+ Veterans have now been housed in 22 states. 37,787 to go.

This system, and our national partnership with the VA, gives us unheard of efficiencies: Veterans Matter has a 100% success rate housing veterans in a long-term VA program that has a 91% success rate keeping them housed! This efficiency also allows us to have a documented VERY low admin rate of 8%.

The demand this year is twice than last, they need us now. Please join us by walking and help in raising funds.
