Blizzard Blast 2021 Virtual Tough Winter Run

Because of COVID, Blizzard Blast is going "virtual" in 2021. Starting on January 30th, for one week, participants will be challenged to complete a tough 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon course with challenge stops along the way. Instead of obstacles, at each stop runners will be required to compete "individual exercises," including lunges, burpees, squats, pushups, army crawls, jump ropes, etc. Throughout, runners will learn about the many great nonprofits in our community -- because that's where the stops are. Runners are encouraged to post videos and selfies on social media, highlighting not only their progress but also the participating organizations. During this pandemic year the money raised will go to the United Way COVID Response Fund, which is supporting the many needs of our community. Runners "win" by competing the race, posting to social media, and raising funds.

Important event note -- if you prepaid your registration for BB2021 as originally conceived, we will honor your registration and carry it over to BB2022 PLUS we will give you a $25 head start on your BB2021 Virtual Event Fundraising, if you choose to participate. Questions should be directed to Mike at [email protected]

I'm participating in the "Virtual Blizzard Blast" Tough Run to support my community. It's a winter race, approximately 10K, through Nashua with multiple challenge stops... snow, rain, or shine! The money I raise supports the community safety net which is more important than ever during the pandemic year. Thank you for your support!
