I'm participating in this fundraiser because I believe in GRUW's mission to unite people and resources to improve lives and strengthen communities.
I joined Team STABILITY because 24% of Coulee Region residents live paycheck to paycheck, and another 12% fall below the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). That means that more than 1/3 of our neighbors and friends are unable to get ahead, financially. This underlying issue makes success in GRUW's other focus areas next to impossible.
I want to raise $500 to help local people stabilize their household economic situations so they can experience thriving lives. I hope you'll join me in making a gift!
To sweeten the deal, I'm offering my own donor incentive in addition to the sweepstakes GRUW runs (for every $52 you donate, you're automatically entered, up to 20 entries).
And here's where the cookies come in: for every $52+ dollars that you donate to *my* campaign, you'll be rewarded with 1 dozen homemade cookies. Donate $104? Well, that's 2 dozen cookies, my friend, and I make some goooood cookies. For those who donated last year, I've got a top secret new recipe, and either way... you're definitely going to want to find out...

Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, and when people are healthy.
Great Rivers United Way focuses on Health, Education, and Financial Stability. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes in the Coulee Region by addressing the underlying causes of these problems. Living United means being a part of the change. It takes everyone in our community working together to create a brighter future – we need you!
